As President, Evan sets company strategy, oversees financials, is the main customer relationship guy, and loves mentoring employees. Evan takes pride in the fact that PCIO’s clients most appreciate being able to hand off all their worries to the team and know that they will receive the best care no matter what type of project. He loves that every day at the office is challenging, and claims he’s never bored.
Evan has been tinkering with electronics since first grade, and when he’s not remodeling his home or skiing down the slopes, the intrepid founder of PCIO is busy inventing electronics gadgets.
Starting as a network specialist right out of college to being the VP of Infrastructure at Benefit Point, Evan has held every role in IT and computer/telephony support. A lifelong knack and passion for technology and a love for solving technical problems propelled Evan from the corporate world to founding PCIO in 2001.
When he does slow down, Evan savors his “impossible to give up” coffee, hangs out with his family, and enjoys playing foster parent to the dogs and cats from his community. Evan is also a regular columnist for Alamo Today, Danville Today, and Lafayette Today.
I really enjoy taking a big-scary project, breaking it down into smaller pieces, figuring out how to address each component, and seeing how everything comes together in the end.
